Disruptions and Incident Management Setup Checklist
Review this checklist to get started with the Disruptions and Incident Management.
- Set Locations for work and home addresses.
Work locations - monitor disruptive events at your work locations. Click here to see how to add or modify work locations.
Home locations (optional)- include employees' and contractors' home addresses in disruption events monitoring. Click here to see how to add information to the employee profile.
- Enable one of the check-in methods ( optional). Click here to learn about six available check-in methods. Using one of the check-in methods allows you to monitor if your employees have checked in on-site in case of a disruption.
- Enable Radar Disruption Notifications. Go to Your Name> Settings> Organization Settings> Vantage Point> Radar.
- To enable your users to respond to incidents and manage cases, you need to assign the required role permissions. You can assign the same group of users or two different groups of users for incident response and case management roles, depending on your preference. The system has two preset roles for this purpose: Incident Manager and Case Manager. You can also combine both role permissions in one role, if necessary. Learn more about roles and permissions here.
- Review questions, settings, and instructions for the disaster case type. Go to Your Name> Settings> Case Types> Disaster. Learn more about case types here.
- Provide instructions to your incident responders and case managers regarding the use of the software.
