Visibility and Notifications

Three things affect your visibility and notifications:

  1. The permissions you have.
  2. Your group and location (primary and general) assignment.
  3. If you are an assigned manager for someone.

The employees you receive notifications/can view information about depend on your assigned permissions, group/location, and manager assignments. Each role has specific visibility and notification settings based on the selected permissions, including All Groups and All Locations permissions.

The table below outlines possible visibility and notification scenarios based on these factors:

You are assigned a single primary location and a single primary groupAnyone with the primary group and primary location that matches yours.
You are assigned multiple locations and multiple groups, in addition to your primaries.Anyone with a primary group that matches one of your assigned groups and a primary location that matches one of your assigned
